Licingston defender Jesus Garcia Tena handed Player of the Month award

Livi full-back Kevin McCann says Jesus Garcia Tena was the worthy winner of the Player of the Month award for January.
And he reckons the Spaniard’s accolade is something the whole team can be proud of.
He said: “I’m really glad for him.
“Jesus has come in done well and fully deserves the award.
“He’s got ability and you can see that on the park.

“He’s got that bit of class about him as well as being a good defender - he knows when to put his foot through the ball.
“It must have been very hard to change country and play somewhere completely different but he’s done really well and hopefully he’ll continue that.
“Hopefully he’ll continue getting success at the club.”
He added: “It’s the type of club where it’s a team success if someone gets recognised, and it’s not just an individual award.
“It’s the whole team who has benefitted from it and helped them on their way.”
Tena’s award success was announced last week.
