Livingston manager Gareth Evans looks ahead to clash at Greenock Morton

Jan 17 2013

by Kieran Westbrook, West Lothian Courier

Livingston boss Gareth Evans says this weekend’s trip to Morton will be one of the hardest of the season.

The Lions have two wins and two draws from their last four encounters.

But Evans (below) expects the First Division leaders to be the hardest test yet.

He said: “Every game is tough, but even more so this weekend.

“Morton are top of the table and are there for a reason.

“They are a strong team, who want to play in the SPL.

“It’s going to be a real test for us to go down to Cappielow and come away with anything.

“They have a good squad of experienced players.”

Paul Watson, Ross Docherty and Jason Talbot are all back in training but unlikely to feature. The two sides have drawn 2-2 both times they have met, this season.

The Livi Lions bus will pick up at the usual places in and around Livingston before heading to Greenock.
