Stefan Scougall smashed home Livingston’s fourth to clinch a stunning victory over Airdrie as Livingston leapfrogged Dunfermline into third place.
Livi’s performance showed no signs of the turmoil going on behind the scenes, as the Lions roared to victory.
Airdrie threatened first and were awarded an early penalty when Jesus Garcia Tena was judged to have fouled Jamie Bain in the box.
It looked like a dreadful start for Livingston - until John Boyle smashed the effort over the bar and into orbit to the delight of Livi fans.
Livingston heeded the warning and made sure that was the only real chance the Diamond created in the first half.

And the rest of the half was really the Tony Andreu show.
The Frenchman took advantage of a Gavin Griffin error to smash home the opener.
And he was on target soon after with a stunning 25-yard drive.
Andreu wrapped up a perfect first half display by sending a perfect cross to Iain Russell who fired Livi into a 3-0 half-time advantage.
Nathan Blockley and Jamie Bain missed chances for Airdrie to get back into the game, before Sean Lynch was sent off for a stupid second yellow.
Long-term crocked Jason Talbot brought more cheer to Livi fans, replacing Callum Booth to earn some game time.
Stefan Scougall put the game beyond doubt with a fine finish, with John Boyle netting a consolation strike.
Caretaker boss Richie Burke admitted he was delighted to see Livingston win.
He said:“I’m thrilled to bits.
“They were magnificent today.
“I’m just enjoying the experience and enjoying the reaction from the players.”
He added: “Tony Adnreu will get all the plaudits today and he deserves them because he was terrific.
“But there are two boys in midfield who really deserve a mention - Liam Fox and Kyle Jacobs.
“Those two boys have absolutely worked their socks off.
“They were terrific.”
Returning Livi full-back Jason Talbot said: “It feels great to pull on the jersey and come on and get some game time.
“Hopefully now I can work hard and get a few more games under my belt.
Livi travel to Raith Rovers this weekend.
