Livi youngster Coll Donaldson is training with English giants Manchester United this week ahead of a possible move to Old Trafford.
Scouts watched the 17-year-old defensive midfielder in reserve games earlier in the season and impressed Man United chief scout Martin Ferguson, brother of Sir Alex, who requested a more detailed look.
Donaldson, who is yet to make a first team appearance for Livi, travelled south with John Collins on Sunday and is now spending the week at United’s training ground.
Livi boss Gareth Evans said: “Coll has been performing well in the Reserves and pushing for a place in the first team.
“It’s good for him to be rewarded for his hard work and it’s great for the club to get the recognition for what we are trying to do in developing players.”
Donaldson is the latest Livi player to attract attention from down south, with Marc McNulty training with Derby County and Stefan Scougall attracting attention from Arsenal, earlier this season.
Donaldson was handed a new contract by Livingston last week - tieing him to the Almondvale club until the summer of 2015.
