Partick Thistle manager Jackie McNamara admits Livingston deserved their point

Jackie McNamara admitted Livingston deserved a share of the points.

The Jags gaffer watched as his side let their lead slip twice as Livi showed steel to earn a draw against the former league leaders.

He said: “It was disappointing obviously to lose a goal like that.

“We were a bit naive and it was a bit of a sickener at the end.

“We need to see out the game better and be a bit more street-wise.

“We had a few chances to kill the game off but that’s football.

“You’ve got to take them but I thought Livingston merited a point.”

Thistle twice took the lead with Kris Doolan and Steven Craig on target for the Firhill outfit.

But Tony Andreu and Marc McNulty fired back to deny Thistle from back to the top of the First Division.

McNamara added: “There’s a fine line between winning and drawing a game.

“It was a good finish from the lad.”

Thistle have now gone three games with a victory after losing at Morton and drawing with Airdrie.
