Partick Thistle versus Livingston preview

Nov 22 2012

by Kieran Westbrook, West Lothian Courier

Gareth Evans reckons Partick Thistle will fight like a wounded animal after their shock 1-0 defeat to Hamilton last weekend.

The Lions take on the table-toppers after the Jags suffered their first league loss of the season.

And Evans expects an extra tough game.

He said: “They’ll be desperate to bounce back after last losing to Hamilton.

“It will make them even tougher than they would normally be and we’ll need to be at our best.

“We’ve a couple of tough games coming and we’ll need to be at our best.

“We’ve found some good form and we will be looking to bring that into the game.

“It was great to get off to a winning start against Falkirk.”

Livi are up to fourth in the First Division and have cut the lead from the top spot to seven points.

Thistle are top of the table, level with Dunfermline on 26 points.
